BASELINE + HUBLyne

BASELINE is the Army installation directory. Its onboard directory works offline and is best for fast contact lookup inside the app.

BASELINE search

Tap the B control to open the local search bar. Search by installation name, office, or contact type. Tap B again to close the search bar and results. You can switch between BASELINE and HUBLyne from the search controls.

HUBLyne search

Tap the H control to open HUBLyne. Enter what you need in the search bar, then use the keyboard search button or the search icon. HUBLyne searches a curated set of trusted military and government directories rather than the broad web. It requires Wi-Fi or mobile data. Tap H again to close it.

BASELINE results and favorites

A result can show a base information card followed by contact rows. The card may provide Weather, DFAC, a ★ favorite, Location, and Web actions. Tap a contact row to open the phone dialer. Tap the star to save a favorite base; the favorite control in the search bar can reload that saved base quickly.

SEALINE + SquidLyne

SEALINE is the Navy installation directory. Its onboard directory works offline and is best for fast Navy contact lookup inside the app.

SEALINE search

Tap the SEALINE shield in the header to open the local Navy directory. Search by base name, such as Norfolk, NAS Pensacola, or Mayport. Results are verified contacts stored on the device and do not require internet access.

SquidLyne search

Tap the SquidLyne shield when you need information beyond the offline directory. Enter your search in its bar and submit it. SquidLyne searches a curated network of trusted military directory websites and opens the results in the browser. It requires Wi-Fi or mobile data.

SEALINE tools

The app’s Tools area provides quick links to service-member resources such as myPay, TRICARE, VA.gov, and Military OneSource.

Controls and Media

Help or Guide

Use the app’s Help or Guide control to reveal the usage instructions. The guide may remain hidden until requested so the screen artwork stays clear.

Eye or display toggle

When present, the eye control changes the screen presentation so the guide or content can be viewed without permanently covering the artwork.

Speaker / SND toggle

The speaker or SND ON / SND OFF control manages button click sounds. When on, button presses can play a short effect; when off, the app continues normally with click sounds muted. In SEALINE, the floating sound control can be dragged to reposition it.

Music / ambient toggle

The music control manages background music or ambient tracks. When on, the current screen may play its ambient track; when off, the app continues normally with background audio muted. Each screen can have its own ambient track.

How to Dial Using DSN

The Defense Switched Network is the internal private telephone system for the Department of Defense.

Same base: use the last 5 or 7 DSN digits.

Base-to-base CONUS: use the full 7-digit DSN number.

Overseas or inter-area: use the appropriate 3-digit area prefix plus the 7-digit number.
